The Clover Bar Ravine acts as a drainage channel for several industrial premises and associated infrastructure.
In high rain events the turbid flows are a concern for the downstream fish-bearing receptors.
A low cost, environmentally friendly solution was required.
Clearflow determined that a combination of passive Water Lynx blocks installed in areas of natural turbulence in the channel, creating artificial turbulence were needed and geo jute matting laid on the streambed and banks to help bind suspended solids.
