frog environmental is supporting bioengineering specialists Salix and cbec eco-engineering UK Ltd to deliver a two day practical wetland, river and sediment management course held at Salix’s Croxton Park Wetland Nursery near Thetford in Norfolk on the 7&8 July 2015.
The event will include a nursery tour and extensive practical demonstrations on cutting edge wetland, river and sediment management techniques.
Results of leading academic research and presentations from major wetland and river enhancement project managers will include a talk from Dr Ian Dodkins of SEACAMS at Swansea University, the co-author of treatment efficacy of floating treatment wetlands in wastewater treatment on the design and function of floating treatment wetlands.
Both Richard and Leela will be talking at the event on Biohaven and SuDs, plus we’ll be demonstrating some exciting new sediment management tools
The cost of the course is £75 for one day, £125 for two (+VAT). Lunch included. An optional three course evening meal with drinks has been arranged for 7.30pm on Tuesday 7th July at The Mulberry in Thetford (£30) and a range of local accommodation is available, although most delegates will be staying at the Premier Inn, Thetford.
